Is Christmas your favorite time of the year? For many, Christmas means a time of sharing and a time of caring, for some it is the celebration of Jesus Christ birthday, but for some others it means it is time for Santa pictures. Many people, kids and adults alike love Santa Clause pictures. Having them displayed around their homes helps to keep them in the Christmas spirit, and can be a constant reminder to small children to be on their best behavior if they want to get gifts and presents for Christmas. There are other things that pictures of Santa Claus do such as create memories that will last forever.
Do you remember when you were a little kid how magical it felt sitting on Santa’s lap telling him everything that you wanted for Christmas. He probably told you if you were a good little girl or boy that he would bring it, but if you were bad you would get coal in your stocking or a bucket full of switches. When you were finished did you get a Santa picture that was a frozen image of you sitting on his lap with a grin from ear to ear? Chances are you may still have that picture somewhere and when you look at it the memories come flooding back into your imagination and just for that brief moment you are a little kid again telling Santa Clause of all your hopes and wishes. Santa Clause pictures can bring a lot of memories from your childhood back and are a very special part of Christmas. It would feel very different if you looked around and did not see any Santa pictures anywhere that you looked at Christmas time. Many people would not be able to get into the spirit and some of the jolliness of Christmas would simply disappear. For some kids this could be a huge disappointment because they would not have much to look forward to, and therefore may not be on their best behavior as a result.
No matter what time of year it is or what season it is Santa Clause can be used as a way to keep your children disciplined. For some kids who like to throw fits or act unruly, hearing the words, “you better be good or Santa Clause is not going to bring you anything for Christmas” can instantly correct the problem. If there were no Santa Clause pictures that showed a jolly man with a soft red suit, a long beard and mustache, and a bright look on his face there would be nothing for kids to picture, and the discipline problems may keep going no matter how much you mention Santa’s name.
If you want to brighten up your home and create memories that you kids will have for the rest of their lives then Santa pictures are a great decoration to have to celebrate the holidays. If there is a place where Santa will be located to visit with children around Christmas then be sure to take your child or children and have their picture made so that they can get the same sentimental feeling that you have every time you look at your picture of Santa Clause.
