Easter Egg Games – Plastic Egg Madness with Peanut Butter
Usually Easter egg games are for the smaller members of the family, but I thought that it would be good to come up with something for the teenagers, or particularly mad adults! Especially if they like to get a bit messy.
Below I am going to describe two insane Easter egg game ideas that your teens can play at their Easter party which involves using peanut butter. The first is a lot easier than the second.
You can play the games either individually, in teams or in pairs. It’s up to you and I will leave you to your own imagination to decide how best to do it!

First, open up your plastic Easter egg, and fill one half with a couple of tablespoons of peanut butter. Smear it in, and then reseal the egg to keep it fresh. Then for the party put the eggs into egg cups or cut kitchen roll tubes into sections and balance them in those.
Get the teens to sit in front of the eggs, and on the word go they should open the egg and start to lick. You can either have them lick until they are clean, or else lick for a time limit (two minutes) and then see who has consumed the most.
Variations!
- No hands allowed.
- Working in partners, so the other person holds the egg.
- Working in teams – not the same egg! The team that has licked through the most.
- Suspend half an egg from a piece of string, which can be tied up somewhere or else held by another player above the ‘licker’s’ head. Thread the string with a large not on the end through the hole that is on most plastic Easter eggs before filing with peanut butter.
Warning: be aware of peanut allergies. There are other options you could try. Chocolate spread (hazelnuts, so again check with parents to be on the safe side), jam, or set jelly.
